Yes it's an official trident commercial, I think what Trident is trying to do here is make people laugh so that they are engaged and will remember what they have seen. The dad says "can I pay you gum?" and the babysitter is like "sure!" this I think is an attempt to get the viewer to place more value on trident by exaggerating it
